WAYN: Juan Veron

Juan Veron born March 9th, 1975 in La Plata, Argentina singed for Chelsea on August 6th, 2003 for 15 million pounds from Manchester United.  Manchester United had two years earlier payed 28 million pounds for his services from Lazio but he failed to make any great impact there.  He also failed to make any great impact at Chelsea, this was mainly because of his lack of pace in the high paced Premiership.  He only played one season at the bridge before being shipped out to Inter on loan for the next two seasons where he enjoyed success and for the final year of his contract he was loaned to Argentinian team Estudiantes who he would sign for on a free when his Chelsea contract expired.  He continues to play for them in the 2008/2009 season.  His final Chelsea stats 14 appearances and 1 goal.
